Debut Album Daphne in Winter
Now Available
posted July 12, 2009

Daphne in Winter, the debut album from Karen and Amy Jones, is now available on CD, iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody and more. The 8-song album was produced by Karen and Amy and Brian J. Anthony and recorded at Brian J. Anthony Studios in North Catasaqua, PA.

From K&A: "We are extremely proud of the songs we've created on this album and can't wait for you to hear them. Since we started singing and writing together back in 2006, we've played over 200 live shows, strictly acoustic - so it's incredibly exciting for us to hear our songs with drums, bass, keyboards, and strings. We're working on adding a band member or two or three, to fill out our live sound. More on that at a later date."

Thanks for your support and for listening!

Daphne in Winter Album Release Coming Soon!
posted June 15, 2009

It's been a long, long road, but our debut album is finally finished. We dropped off the master and artwork last week and we'll have the CDs in hand VERY SOON.

The 8-song album was recorded by Brian J. Anthony at Brian J. Anthony Studios in North Catasaqua, PA. Brian also helped us produce the songs and played the instruments we completely suck at, like bass and electric guitar. He is, in a word, awesome.

We are extremely proud of the songs we've created on this album and can't wait for you to hear them. Since we started singing and writing together back in 2006, we've played over 200 shows, strictly acoustic - so it's incredibly cool for us to hear our songs with drums, bass, keyboards, strings, etc. (we're working on adding a band member or two or three, but more on that at a later date).

We'll be selling the CD online and at our live shows and the songs will be available on iTunes, Amazon and other online stores soon. Thanks for your support and thanks for listening!

p.s. Amy actually drew the album artwork - who knew she was a freaking artist?

32 bands have been selected to compete in the 2008 PushPlay competition...and we're one of them!

So here's the deal...the 32 bands will be randomly paired up over the next few weeks and the band with the most plays within a 24-hour period moves on to the next round. Our slot begins on June 3 at midnight - you'll have 24 hours to "listen" to our song Rain. Simple as that! No voting, no signing up for anything...just go to www.myspace.com/gafpushplay on June 3 and "listen" to our song.

Thank you!!

"Rain" #1 in Pennsylvania on OurStage
posted April 30, 2008

We love OurStage.com because it's not a popularity contest. Similar to Garageband, OurStage makes it about the music, not about how many MySpace and Facebook friends you can get to vote to push your song to the top. Check it out if you get a chance!

"Rain" was #1 on the Pennsylvania Acoustic chart and #5 on the worldwide Acoustic chart on OurStage for April 2008 .

Woo hoo!

Vote for "Rain" on FameCast.com
posted April 16, 2008

FameCast.com has chosen our song "Rain" to compete in their inaugural Singer/Songwriter Stage weekly audio contest. Thanks FC!

We're up against 14 other acoustic acts, so we need your help! You do have to register to participate, but once you do, you can vote once a day. Voting is open from April 15-22.

We know that signing up on these sites can be annoying, but think of it as a great way to discover new music. You can help us out AND expand your musical horizons all in one shot. :-)

(VOTING IS NOW CLOSED)

Thanks for your support!
